The ICOM IC-M25EURO handheld VHF radio is a compact, lightweight, and high-performance marine radio designed for intuitive use and exceptional reliability. Weighing only 220g, it's one of the lightest floating VHF radios on the market, making it ideal for use in a dinghy, kayak, or as a safety device in a survival kit.
Performance and visibility: Float'n Flash
One of the most remarkable features of the IC-M25EURO is its Float'n Flash function. If the radio falls into water, not only does it float, but a red LED starts flashing, greatly facilitating its location day and night. This safety feature is a major advantage compared to older or entry-level models that do not offer active signaling.
Simplified battery life and charging
Equipped with a 1500 mAh Lithium-Ion battery, the IC-M25EURO offers approximately 11 hours of battery life under standard use. Its major innovation lies in its micro-B USB charging port. This universal connector allows it to be recharged with the same chargers used for smartphones or other electronic devices (car chargers, power banks, etc.), eliminating the need for a bulky proprietary charger.
Robust and ergonomic design
Certified IPX7 waterproof, this VHF radio can withstand immersion in 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. The AquaQuake™ function further enhances this protection by emitting a vibration to expel water from the speaker grille, ensuring clear audio communication even after immersion.
