The Elite FS 7 chartplotter from Lowrance is a multifunction display designed for demanding anglers and sailors seeking a compact yet highly scalable system. Positioned strategically between the entry-level Hook Reveal series and the premium HDS Pro series, the Elite FS (Fishing System) provides full access to the most advanced fish detection technologies on the market while maintaining a small footprint on the console.
High-brightness display and touch interface
This GPS fishfinder combo features a 7" multitouch capacitive display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. With a brightness exceeding 1200 nits, it ensures excellent readability in all sunlight conditions. The unit is IPX6 and IPX7 certified, providing complete waterproofing against spray and temporary immersion, with an operating temperature range from -15°C to +55°C. Its weight of just 0.9 kg makes it easy to install on any mounting system.
Advanced network connectivity and fishfinder compatibility
Unlike lower-end models, the Elite FS 7 chartplotter includes a 5-pin 100Base-T Ethernet port for sharing chart data, waypoints, or adding the ActiveTarget or ActiveTarget 2 real-time fishfinder module. The NMEA 2000 (Micro-C) port enables seamless integration with autopilots (inboard and outboard), audio systems, AIS receivers, and CZone digital switching. It supports CHIRP, SideScan, and DownScan frequencies (455/800 kHz) via its 9-pin transducer port. The unit also features Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n) and Bluetooth 4.0 for software updates, data synchronization, and smartphone connectivity.
