Lowrance Eagle 9 fishfinder/GPS combo: screen only
The Lowrance Eagle 9 is a fishfinder and chartplotter combo designed for anglers seeking a large display and essential features. This version is specifically offered without a transducer, making it an ideal solution for replacing an existing Lowrance screen or for users who wish to select a transducer tailored to their fishing practice. It features a 9-inch screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, ensuring clear readability even in bright sunlight thanks to wide 85° viewing angles.
Fishfinder compatibility and performance
Although supplied without a transducer, the Eagle 9's single transducer port is fully compatible with Lowrance SplitShot™ and TripleShot™ transducers. By pairing it with one of these transducers (sold separately), you unlock advanced detection capabilities. You will gain access to traditional CHIRP views as well as high-resolution DownScan Imaging™ and SideScan Imaging™ (with a TripleShot™ transducer) for detailed analysis of structures and seabeds at frequencies of 455/800 kHz.
GPS navigation and mapping
The Lowrance Eagle 9 integrates a precise GPS receiver for navigation. It includes a microSD card reader (compatible with cards up to 32 GB), allowing you to use a wide range of marine charts. Navigation features include creating and managing waypoints, routes, and tracks. A MOB (Man Overboard) function is also quickly accessible by pressing the zoom buttons simultaneously.
Design and technical specifications
Built for the marine environment, the Eagle 9 housing is IPX7 waterproof certified. It operates on a 12 V DC power supply and has a moderate maximum power consumption of 7.68 W (640 mA). With a weight of 0.9 kg for the screen alone and dimensions of 287.2 mm x 169.8 mm x 82.5 mm, it easily fits on most consoles. Within the range, it sits above the Eagle 7, offering a larger display area and higher resolution for improved readability.
