Detailed description
Detailed description
High-performance display for sport fishing
The Lowrance HDS PRO 9-inch GPS fishfinder combo is designed to deliver absolute readability in all conditions. Its 9-inch multi-touch high-definition screen features a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, paired with extreme brightness exceeding 1200 nits. Thanks to its wide viewing angles of 80 degrees (top/bottom and left/right), data remains perfectly clear even in bright sunlight or with polarized sunglasses. Unlike mid-range models, the HDS PRO series is built to serve as the central hub of a complete and demanding onboard electronic system.
Ultra-high-definition underwater detection
This model comes with the new Active Imaging HD 3-in-1 transducer, which pushes the limits of detection. The unit fully exploits very high frequencies (up to 1200 kHz for CHIRP and SideScan/DownScan) to provide surgically sharp images of structures and fish. The HDS PRO 9 integrates two independent transducer ports (9-pin connectors) capable of delivering 1 kW RMS power. It is also designed to natively interface with the ActiveTarget real-time fishfinder technology and the Ghost 360 system, offering a decisive tactical advantage on the water.
Network connectivity and global integration
Built for complex configurations, this chartplotter features two 100BASE-T Ethernet ports (5-pin) enabling smooth, low-latency sharing of mapping, radar, or fishfinder modules across multiple displays. Its NMEA 2000 connectivity (Micro-C port) and NMEA 0183 (via the power cable) ensure flawless bidirectional communication with autopilots, electric motors, heading sensors, or anchoring systems like Power-Pole. It also includes Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.2, and dual microSD card readers (up to 256 GB) for data management and software updates.
Rugged design for marine environments
The HDS PRO 9 is built to withstand harsh navigation conditions. It holds dual IPX6 and IPX7 waterproof certifications, ensuring protection against sea spray and temporary immersion. Its mechanical robustness is validated through intensive testing, supporting 100,000 shock and vibration cycles at 20 G. For power, it requires 12 V DC (10.8 to 18 V DC) with a controlled maximum consumption of 40 W (2.9 A at 13.8 V DC). The unit weighs 1.39 kg and can be mounted on a bracket or flush-mounted in the dashboard.
