Detailed description
Detailed description
The Mastervolt ChargeMaster Plus 24/110-2 charger-converter represents the most advanced solution for onboard energy management. Designed to support all battery chemistries, including MLI Ultra lithium-ion models, this charger delivers a total current of 110 A at 24 V. Unlike the previous ChargeMaster series or competing chargers that require external splitters, the Plus series natively integrates a DC/DC converter and a current limiter. This innovative architecture allows charging a 12 V starter battery (up to 15 A) directly from a 24 V installation, drastically simplifying wiring and reducing the number of components in the engine room.
Universal connectivity and charging algorithms
System integration is central to this model. Equipped with MasterBus, CZone, and NMEA 2000 interfaces, the ChargeMaster Plus 24/110-2 communicates seamlessly with multifunction displays (B&G, Garmin, Raymarine) and dedicated screens. It uses the proprietary 3-step+ charging method, ensuring fast and safe recharging. A priority charging function intelligently redirects available power to the most discharged bank. Additionally, its automatic revitalization mode can restore deeply discharged batteries, a critical feature for preserving service banks after prolonged layup or accidental discharge.
Robust design for extreme environments
Weighing 6.3 kg with dimensions of 384 x 250 x 127 mm, this charger delivers exceptional power density. It accepts a global input voltage range of 80 to 275 V AC (50/60 Hz), ensuring flawless operation on docks worldwide or with generators featuring unstable signals. IP23 certified, it is built to withstand ambient temperatures from -25 °C to 80 °C, with automatic thermal power reduction above 40 °C. Voltage and temperature compensation is precisely managed via the included probe, preventing destructive thermal overload of your batteries.
