The Mastervolt Mass Combi Pro 12/3000/150 230V is a complete energy conversion solution designed for demanding marine and mobile applications. This unit integrates inverter, battery charger, and AC transfer switch functions, providing autonomous power management aboard. It is intended for professional and semi-professional use, ensuring stable and reliable electrical power supply.
Integrated energy conversion and performance
This model delivers a continuous power output of 3000 W at 40 °C (cos φ 1), converting a nominal DC voltage of 12 V (range 9.5–16 V) to an AC voltage of 230 V (± 2%), adjustable from 180 to 200 V. The AC output frequency is configurable at 50 or 60 Hz (± 0.005%).
The integrated battery charger delivers a maximum charging current of 150 A at 14.25 V, with a fully automatic 3-step+ (IUoUo) charging characteristic. The charger’s input voltage range is 184 to 275 V. The AC transfer system manages generator and shore power inputs, with two separate AC outputs (output 1 always available, output 2 switchable and configurable via DIP switches or MasterBus).
Advanced features and robustness
The Mass Combi Pro features Power Assist, which prevents voltage drops and outages by supplementing external AC power with inverter power, even with weak connections or small generators. It ensures seamless switching between power sources (shore power, generator, inverter), avoiding interruptions. The unit has two separate AC inputs and two outputs. Output 1 is always available, while output 2 is switchable and can be configured via DIP switches or MasterBus.
Its MasterBus compatibility allows full integration into a Mastervolt system. The unit has an IP23 protection rating, protected against water spray up to 60 degrees from vertical and finger contact. It is designed for indoor installation, with an operating temperature range of -25 °C to 60 °C (derating above 40 °C). Its dimensions are 472 x 318 x 178 mm and its weight is 15.3 kg.
