Detailed description
Detailed description
The MasterBus gauge interface from Mastervolt is the acquisition module dedicated to monitoring tank levels on board. It bridges a level sensor (resistive, current, or voltage) and the MasterBus network, allowing you to view and manage fuel, fresh water, gray water, or black water levels on a compatible display (Easy View 5, Zeus, etc.) or via the MasterAdjust software. Unlike a dedicated display such as the MasterView Easy View 5, which includes a screen, this interface is a pure processing module designed to be integrated into a discreet technical cabinet.
Compatibility and advanced configuration
The interface accepts three types of sensors: resistive (0-300 ohms), current (0/4-20 mA), and voltage (0-70 V). Configuration is performed via the free MasterAdjust software. Two calibration modes are available: the Min/Max mode for linear tanks, and the manual mode with up to 20 calibration points for non-linear tanks. It includes adjustable damping (filtering) on three levels (light, medium, heavy) to stabilize the display against boat movements. High and low alarm thresholds are configurable from 0 to 100%.
Network features and event control
The MasterBus gauge interface can trigger up to 63 events on the MasterBus network. For example, a low fresh water level can shut off the water pump, or a high gray water level can trigger an alarm. The Smart Powering function reduces power consumption to 280 mW by powering the sensor only when necessary. The interface comes with a 1-meter MasterBus cable and a terminator, and can be mounted on a DIN rail or flat surface using two mounting holes. Its IP21 protection rating makes it suitable for indoor installation in a dry electrical panel.
