Detailed description
Detailed description
SeaTalk NG cable for RayStar 130 GPS antenna
Raymarine A06072 cable is a 6-meter spur cable specifically designed to connect the RayStar 130 GPS antenna to a SeaTalk NG network. This connection is essential to ensure accurate position data transmission and power supply from the sensor to your Raymarine multifunction displays and navigation instruments.
Integration and technical specifications
Equipped with a female connector, this cable integrates seamlessly into the SeaTalk NG architecture, Raymarine’s proprietary protocol based on the NMEA2000 standard. Unlike blue backbone cables that form the network’s backbone, this white spur cable connects an individual device to a T-connector or multiple terminal block. Its 6-meter length provides ideal mounting flexibility to relocate the GPS antenna to a stern arch or bimini while connecting to the vessel’s main network.
Marine reliability and replacement
Designed to withstand demanding marine environments, this cable ensures optimal waterproofing and protection against electromagnetic interference. It is the official replacement part for maintaining operational condition of RayStar 130 antennas, a previous-generation device still widely deployed on many recreational vessels.
